Hi, I’m Becky. I’m the owner of Dutchfield Dog Training.

A little bit about myself: I’ve been training dogs for over 25 years. It started out as a hobby, being a trainer for the local dog school in The Netherlands. I am a qualified trainer, having completed the Martin Gaus Academy Instructor’s course. For many years, I was teaching puppy classes and later on, other more advanced obedience classes.

In 2006 I emigrated to Australia where I worked as a Police Officer for Wapol. I was still running dog training classes in my spare time. In 2011 I decided to change careers and started my own dog school. Since then, I have been working full time as a trainer and a dog behaviorist. I am proud to have developed a very popular and successful business where we cater for group obedience classes (from puppies to advanced obedience), agility classes, tracking classes and personal lessons and home consultations where I work with the owner to change their dog’s behavior issues.

I love sharing my knowledge of canine behavior and educate dog owners to have a better understanding of their dog and how to communicate with them in a way that’s natural and clear!

Quality Business Awards Australia: “We are pleased to inform you that Dutchfield Dog Training has been selected as The Best Dog Behaviourist in Bunbury, WA for 2023. Dutchfield Dog Training achieved an overall quality score of 95% or greater.

Hi, I’m Annette.

I’ve been working in the animal care industry for over 15 years and have been working as a veterinary nurse since 2012.I’ve always enjoyed dog training, however my interest in canine behaviour started after working at one of WA’s largest dog shelters and seeing the amount of dogs with behavioural issues made me want to know why these behaviours come about, how the behaviours affect the dogs and what can I do to fix them.In my spare time, I compete in dog agility and obedience trials with one of my dogs, which I really love doing.

Hi, I’m Kate.

I started helping Becky out about 8 years ago with her dog Ceska. I didn’t have a dog of my own, so I took Ceska into Basic Obedience lessons for Becky.

I loved that I could work with a dog again. I finally got my own dog, a greyhound called Danny. We did basic obedience with him to get him use to being around other dogs. I started him on tracking which he loved, and was good at.

I eventually got another dog, a border collie called Gypsy. Together we do obedience, agility and tracking.

Sadly, my darling Danny died quite unexpectedly, so Quinn eventually joined our pack, we do obedience and Tracking together.

Becky asked if I would like to help her out with training puppies in Basic obedience, I jumped at the idea. I love helping dogs and their humans find their way and reach their potential.
